Suppose that you are interested in knowing if the mean of the technical-high-school group is higher than the college-entrance group.  State the appropriate hypothesis and test it statistically.       

5.       Blood pressure for  women is normally distributed with a mean of 120 and a standard deviation of 12.  If a randomly selected group of 49 women who are using a birth control pill have a mean blood pressure of 122.5, use a two-tailed test with alpha at 5% to determine if this sufficient evidence to conclude that the pill affects blood pressure.
